There's no skipping steps in launching a successful blog or social media campaign. Like any exercise regiment, it takes hard work, consistency and the ability to be yourself (and be true to yourself; setting measurable goals and holding yourself accountable). Unfortunately, there isn’t a “fast, easy, free” way to reap the results it’s taken you MONTHS if not YEARS to achieve. No matter WHAT the MMO bloggers may say!

I have to laugh – RETIREMENT? Um, there’s a huge mountain range between the senior prom and retirement known as COLLEGE! GRIN! Retirement seems a LONG ways away!!!

Kathy, I love this post! Getting my blog ready for the senior prom seems about right. But then we still have a ways to go until we’re retired. I feel bad for the people who say they need to be making money now. I understand the feeling, but unfortunately, there’s not a quick solution. Their blog just needs time to grow up.

THANKS for the heads up! Running that through spell check caught a couple of other errors as well!

Not running spell check on my content is the moral equivalent of allowing MY baby to sit in a dirty diaper!

@ Cath,

You and I are truly cut from the same cloth. The biggest reason I created a day by day 8 week course is to get my clients in the HABIT of blogging!!! I swear, some people think that you launch your blog on Tuesday and start cashing checks the following Thursday!

I personally blame the internet marketing crowd for infecting our thinking with such tripe!
