I&#039;ve found that the best way to get lucky is to be in as many places as possible, so when the right time comes along I&#039;ll get lucky.

My ex-husbands Fire and Flood restoration business was almost bankrupt when I took it over.  We didn&#039;t get a lot of flooding in the area and when we did, the majority of the work went to competitors.

I just stuck it out, making sure that I got my marketing materials under the noses of as many people as possible, as often as I could.  At first, nothing happened.  But I kept at it.  And when the bad weather did come, I was the first person everyone thought of and we were flooded with work - literally.
